Coucoury is in the department of Charante Maritime and is the opposite side of the river to Chaniers. Both Bordeaux and La Rochelle airports are within easy reach. The coast is nearby and the beautiful beaches at Royan, St George de Didionne and La Palmyre are lovely places to enjoy the sea.
